It’s Raining.

I got up this morning and it was perfect. Woke up to the sound of the rain and the crispness of the air. I sleep with my window open all the time regardless of the temperature. I love it. It always makes getting up hard because it is so cold, but nothing beats the cool air in the morning or all night. But this morning when I went outside it was much colder than it seemed.95768359_8e15acee61.jpgOn my way to here I saw more than like 15 cars with snow upon the tops of them or on the hoods. It means the snow is getting lower. Maybe we see snow here this year. It would definitely be sick to get some snow. A snow day would be great. It has only ever snowed I think like 5 times in any town I have lived. kinda sad, but at least it has never taken long to get to the snow. Well, I came here to work on a paper, and I guess I can’t procrastinate any further. My professor just walked by, I’m taking it as a hint. Peace out for now.

lk02_16b1.jpgAnd this is what I found. Now before you start judging, which I did as well, just take a look at the creativity and artistic ability it took to create this. As a Lego-lover, which some of you may know, I think it is awesome. Brings back the days where I could be left at home by my parents at the age of like 7 or 8 as long as I had a huge pile of Lego’s in front of me, I was content for hours. Put me and A.J. together and we would create whole different worlds. It was just awesome. But anyways check this out, I found it by checking out a new blog friend, her name is Jenn, click her and read it up! As for me, I got class today. Only two, so it won’t be to bad. But today is laundry day. Shall be great….maybe….we will see. Anyways. Peace.

Enjoy.

art1.jpgSo today went pretty well. Art class is awesome. We are just basically drawing all semester long. Hopefully I will put some of my pieces up here, but for now, we are just starting. I enjoy the way the class is set up. Easy to chilax and just feel open, if that makes sense and doesn’t create the impression that I’m gay. I met like three people today and we just started talking. Haha, oh the joys of day classes where people are friendlier as opposed to night classes where they can’t wait to get home. I will keep you posted about when I can put stuff up here. But for now, it’s off to homework world. Peace.

At it again.

whamyoung-1.jpgSo this week marks week two of the long journey I’m gonna call second semester. The good semester. The one I need to do super well at… Yea, that one. I woke this morning and just couldn’t get my self oriented. Like I was in a blur and it took me a while to take it all in, turn of the melodious tunes of Wham on my alarm, and the neighbors in the shower, and the fact that I should probably be up starting my day. This week is going to be a tough one. For one, this weekend wasn’t the greatest. Ok, scratch that, it sucked, but I am trying to accept it. Two, I have five classes, two art classes and a music class. The other two, well, not to bad. When I say that, I’m talking about the price I have to pay for supplies and books for these three classes. I totaled the amount I need to spend for books/ supplies this semester, and it came out to a little over $350.00. I’m so excited since the whole no job thing is still lingering. Oh well. So off to get a couple for now, at least to get me started, and then I guess after that, I just have to play dumb when questioned on whether or not I got the assigned reading materials haha… Pray for me? Thanks. Also, if your up for some good reading this morning. This guy is at it again with another great post. Check it out and let me know what you think. Are you a rockstar or do you like em?

So today was two fold.

The start to today was bad. I wish I could have handled thing differently, but I came to the realization that I just couldn’t be in this place anymore. It was extremely tough, and I know I hurt someone, and I am sorry. Hopefully things will get better with time and God will show me where I need to be. On a lighter note, I’m gonna be a published writer. Thats right. When I was younger, I wrote a book and they are now talking about getting it published. So hopefully, with this, it might be another source of dinero until the job market opens up again. So keep your fingers crossed and when it comes out, I will be signing the copies. So when I find out, I will make sure you are all informed so you can be first in line to get my John Hancock. Anyways, today has been slow. So yea, back to doing nothing and feeling bad. Wish me luck.

In a time of need…

Many of you know how much I love music, and how much I listen to. But a lot of you dont know that I have certain types that I enjoy listening to when certain instances present themselves to me. Right now, a lot of things are going on that I have asked for prayer about and such and thats all fine and dandy, but I know that even though I may not hear them, I have music I turn to. One artist I have been listening to a lot of lately, has been Phil Wickham. His songs speak to me and I can be listening to his albums on repeat all day long and never have them get old, but also at the same time, never have them not portray some sort of encouragement to me to help me out. Now I’m not like boo-hoo poor me, but I got things sometimes and his music has always helped me since I started listening to his stuff. I encourage you to check him out. One song in particular I have been listening to is I Will Wait for You There. Check out the lyrics and let me know what you think.

I will wait for You there, Down on my knees where I met You, Give You all of my cares, Find a grace to hold onto now, I’m calling for You, I will wait for You there, far from the world and it’s violence, It left broken and bare, I need to hear You in the silence now, I’m calling for You, And with outstretched arms I will sing out melodies, And my beating heart Will pour out a symphony, Hallelujah’s in the morning Hallelujah’s in the night, I will wait for you as long as I have life, I will wait for You there, Down On my knees where I met you, Cause life is a war fought with tears, But You are the strength I hold onto now, I’m calling for you

But as for now, I gotta get back to class, two more to go today. Wish me luck. Peace!

Has it ever happened that when someone says, “Hey! Check out this new band.”, that you get kinda nervous as to what you might be getting yourself into? Well, have no fear… and check out this band! I got referred this band and think they sound pretty tight. Also, how can a band not be cool when one of the members just got done with a season with the ex-World Champion Indianapolis Colts? His name is Hunter, he can sing to. Make sure to check out their blog as well.
